Samuel Bordoni-Cowley is a member of the Litigation Department in the Firm's Philadelphia office. He maintains a general litigation practice and handles a variety of matters involving complex commercial disputes.

While earning his J.D. at Rutgers Law School, Sam was a summer associate for Saul Ewing, where he was exposed to legal matters involving products liability law, bad faith denial of insurance coverage and environmental liabilities of large-scale farms. Sam also was a judicial extern for Judge Dolores K. Sloviter of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and a judicial intern for Judge Joseph E. Irenas of the U. S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Before law school, he was a summer intern for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren.

At Rutgers, Sam was appointed as a Legal Writing Teaching Fellow. In his final year at Rutgers, Samuel interned for the Rutgers Domestic Violence Clinic, submitting an appellate brief to the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division for which he was awarded the Achievement Award In Legal Writing for demonstrating the highest caliber of practical writing in his class.
