For over 40 years, David has concentrated his practice  on commercial bankruptcy, workouts, and insolvency matters, representing both debtors and creditors. He has extensive experience representing financially distressed businesses in loan restructurings, workouts, chapter 11 reorganizations, chapter 7 liquidations, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. He has substantial experience representing secured lenders in the enforcement of their rights under the Uniform Commercial Code and in loan modification and forbearance agreements. He also represents landlords, equipment lessors, and other creditors in defending and pursuing their claims against debtors.  David represents lenders and borrowers in Illinois mortgage foreclosure proceedings and real estate workouts, including deed in lieu of foreclosure transactions. Clients look to David to provide a thorough analysis of their rights, a clear explanation of the options, and to implement the chosen course of action.
